Heaven On Seven
You can find this restaurant in downtown Naperville, on Wabash, or Rush street. We went to the one in Naperville. It specializes in Louisiana style cooking and it's the only place I've found that seems to capture the culture/flavor of New Orleans. While you might expect it to be filled with loud and happening music, it instead provides a pleasant atmosphere with soft jazzy tunes. There are colorful paintings of jazz musicians and instruments and a huge wall of unique hot sauces that decorate the restaurant. The southern, Cajun style food fit right in with the decor. The fish had subtle Cajun seasonings (no afterburn spice), served with fresh veggies and blueberry corn muffins that melted in your mouth. It truly feels as though you've entered into another state without needing to catch a plane. For this type of experience, the prices are certainly reasonable at $10-$15 a plate. This restaurant receives a ChiChow thumbs up.

Meatheads
Californian Lil'Meathead
You are looking at one of the top burgers I've had the pleasure of experiencing. The Californian from Meatheads. Made with pepper jack cheese, cucumber wasabi sauce, avocado, lettuce, and tomato -- served with freshly cut fries (don't forget the malt vinegar!). Known for their 100% Angus beef burgers and real potato fries, Meatheads delivers quality burgers with exceptional customer service. It's comparable to another very popular hamburger stop shop in Naperville called Five Guys, but I think Meatheads has them beat. Both allow you to build your own burger from a variety of toppings, but Meathead toppings include other extras (e.g. avocado, fried egg, pineapple, and more). Additionally, they have signature sauces that you can get on your burger or extra for dipping fries (e.g. cucumber wasabi, bleu cheese, buffalo ranch, or thousand island to pull out a few). Lastly, they have some premade ideas for those of us who are creatively challenged ;) (like the Californian). The Naperville location looks very hip and the workers were always willing to lend a hand as if they were your waiters. If you haven't yet, it's an experience worth having.
